Los Crudos is probably my favorite Latino Core band of all time. I was lucky enough to catch ’em live a few times in Washington D.C. The passion, the drive and the anger was what I loved most about his band. I’ve had a copy of this album, “Canciones Para Liberar Nuestras Fronteras” for the last few years but have just neglected to pick it up on vinyl. I finally decided to pick it up as there was one on eBay for a decent price.
Great art work for the dust jacket with a definite revolutionary motif in mind.
Another powerful image is shown on the back cover. Hardcore can be very political if it wants to be.
More amazing photographs as well as both Spanish lyrics and the English translations are held within an awesome booklet.
There are definitely plenty of copies out there, but for some reason I never seem to come across them. Flat Earth and Nabate apparently printed over 4000 of these in 1996. Hopefully more turn up so other fans like myself can get a hold of them. A very important release.
