So my first thoughts on listening to this album is that it’s not “The Power of Expression.”  Is that a bad thing?  Definitely not.  The album as a whole is actually a really great listen.  There are just a few songs on here that I probably would have left off the record.  I think they were just a little too experimental for me  and didn’t sound like a Bl’ast! song.  But what do I know, right?

Anyway, Southern Lord did a great job with the production of the album.  It came in a really nice looking gatefold jacket and a really heavy piece of vinyl that puts some other companies to shame.  I think it weighs as much as three records combined.  Beautiful!

If that wasn’t enough you also go this pretty nice looking poster of the cover art and a bonus colored 7″ of the band covering Alice Cooper on one side and The Germs on the other.  Overall a nice record to add to the collection and a great listen.
