Purple Vision

It’s just crazy to think that some of the stuff that I hunt for is twenty-five years or older.  What’s scary is that I listened to this stuff in high school and am still listening to it this very day.  I don’t exactly remember when I started listening to Vision but I do remember I had a dubbed copy for the longest time since I could never find any actual copies.  At one point I did get a copy of “In the Blink of an Eye” on cd.  I found it at Tower Records in Fairfax, VA.  I never did find a copy on vinyl.

Well the wait is long over.  I finally jumped the gun and got one!  I didn’t settle for just a black copy either.  If I was gonna get one on vinyl it had to be colored, damn it!  This one just happens to be a nice marbled purple.  There are also pink copies floating around, but they are definitely harder to come by.  Marcus blogged about this last year, so go ask him about the pink one.  I’m just happy to have found one of these even though the jacket is  little rough.  Oh well, I’m sure I can find a pretty cheap black copy and swap out the jackets.  Anyway, hopefully it doesn’t take another twenty years for me to track down the pink one.

Another beautiful slap of colored vinyl, I totally agree that the music you grew up with is the music you continue to want today. Ahh, the good ole days 🙂

Great color! Would sit nicely between my pink and dark purple copies to show the color range.
