Headspace Astronaut

I’ve been pretty much a fan of everything that Mark Palm has ever released. From Go it Alone to Supercrush I’ve been pretty amazed with the diversity and talent that he has displayed with every release.  So when the long-awaited second Devotion lp came out, it was a no brainer that I had to own a copy.  It’s hard to believe it’s been seven years since the first album “Bastard Son of Afflluence Blues” was released.

This thing rocks from the moment you hear the first riff. It’s actually quite refreshing for me to listening to something like this as I’ve been pretty much just listening to hardcore nonstop the past month or so.

I have no idea how many copies on purple were made. I was just happy to get a copy as I heard that these pretty much sold out within a couple of hours of the release being announced.

Now that this has been released I wonder how long it will take for a Supercrush lp to actually come into fruition.

Go listen to it or better yet buy it now that Revelation has copies for sale.

Never heard (or heard of) this before, but it’s really good. It sounds a slowed down version of the second No Warning LP, although maybe that’s just me.
